Homeowner/renter policies sometimes extend limited coverage to off-premises storage — check with your carrier if you'd rather use existing coverage.
Storing a vehicle, boat, RV, or trailer?
SafeStor tenant insurance covers the contents inside your unit — it does not cover vehicles. If you're storing anything titled or registered, you'll need to keep a current auto, motorcycle, RV, boat, or trailer policy on that vehicle during the entire time it's on the property.
- Comprehensive coverage is recommended (fire, theft, weather).
- You'll be asked to provide proof of policy at move-in.
- Let us know if your policy lapses or changes carriers.
SafeStor claims are handled directly by Repwest Insurance.
If something happens to your stored belongings, you can start a claim online in a few minutes, or call Repwest's claims team directly. Have your unit number and SafeStor coverage details ready.
Repwest Insurance Company is the underwriter of SafeStor tenant coverage. UnitSafe Storage is not an insurance provider and does not adjust claims.
